Concord photographer H. P. Moore provides an image of one such soldiers’ burial ground at nearby Hilton Head, which I used as the model for Dr. Esther’s vision in panel #4.  So far as I can tell, the photograph itself does not appear anywhere online, & is available only through NH Historical Society‘s fine book on Moore’s Civil War photography.
