What does that one line tell you about Swett’s views of the forested landscape around him?:

“All symptoms of life… soon disappeared…”

I used this old stereoscope pf the Profile House as my model here; I adore the perspective it offers:
“First Sight of the Profile House” (Kilburn Brothers, 1865?-1890?)
